- PRODUCT INFORMATION, IMAGES & SAMPLES
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information and images displayed on our website are accurate. However, product images, colours, textures and finishes shown online are for illustration purposes and may not exactly represent the product supplied.

- ONLINE SALES
Our website does not facilitate online purchases of flooring products or installation services.
However, a selection of Rubio Monocoat cleaning and maintenance products is available to purchase online through the Wood Flooring Accessories section of our website
Online purchases are subject to the information, terms and conditions presented to the customer during the purchasing process, including applicable pricing, delivery and returns information.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory consumer rights that apply to online purchases.
- PRICING, QUOTATIONS & PAYMENT
Products and availability displayed on the website may change from time to time.
Any prices displayed online for cleaning and maintenance products available for online purchase will be subject to the applicable VAT and delivery charges, where relevant. Any additional charges applicable to an online order will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.
For flooring and installation projects, pricing is generally provided by quotation and may depend on measurements, product selection, site conditions, preparation requirements, access and the agreed scope of works.
Any quotation provided in-store is based on the measurements and information available at the time and is subject to confirmation following a site measurement carried out by us. The final quotation may be higher or lower than the in-store quotation, depending on the confirmed measurements and installation requirements.
For flooring supply and installation projects, a 50% deposit of the total quoted price is required upon ordering, with the remaining 50% balance payable in full prior to installation commencing, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A quotation for flooring supply and installation is subject to the specific terms and conditions agreed with the customer.
- ONLINE ORDERS, DELIVERY & RETURNS
Where Rubio Monocoat cleaning and maintenance products are purchased online through our website, the customer will receive confirmation of their order following purchase.
We reserve the right to contact the customer if there is an issue with an order, including an error in pricing, product availability or delivery information.
Delivery charges and estimated delivery times will be clearly communicated during the online purchasing process and/or in the order confirmation.
Customers purchasing products online are entitled to the statutory consumer rights that apply to their purchase, including applicable rights to cancel, return and receive a refund. These rights are subject to any applicable provisions and exceptions under Irish and European Union consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers.
- MEASUREMENTS & PRODUCT SUITABILITY
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any measurements or quantities supplied by them are accurate and that products selected are suitable for their intended use.
Where we provide measuring or site assessment services, these are carried out based on the conditions reasonably apparent at the time of assessment.
Any quotation provided in-store is based on the measurements and information available at the time and is subject to confirmation following a site measurement carried out by us.
The final quotation may be higher or lower than the in-store quotation, depending on the confirmed measurements and installation requirements.
The final quotation will be based on the confirmed measurements and requirements of the installation.
For flooring installations, the suitability of the property and installation area may depend on factors including:
- Subfloor condition
- Moisture levels
- Floor levels and flatness
- Existing flooring
- Access to the property
- Room conditions
- Ventilation and environmental conditions
- Other site-specific factors
Where additional preparation or remedial work is reasonably identified before or during installation, this may be subject to an additional charge. We will discuss such requirements with the customer before carrying out additional chargeable works wherever reasonably practicable.
- FLOORING INSTALLATION SERVICES
We provide installation services for carpet and engineered hardwood flooring purchased from, and supplied by us.
Our carpet and hardwood flooring service is offered on a turnkey supply-and-fit basis, subject to the agreed quotation and the suitability of the property and installation area. The installation requirements for each project may vary depending on the property, subfloor, selected product and site conditions.
Additional works may be required before or during installation, including subfloor preparation, levelling, moisture-related works, removal of existing flooring or other preparation required to achieve a suitable installation.
Installation dates and estimated completion times are provided in good faith and may be subject to change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including unforeseen site conditions, product availability, delivery delays or other circumstances affecting the installation.
Any specific terms relating to a flooring supply and installation project will be set out in the customer’s quotation, order confirmation or other agreement with us.
- CARE & MAINTENANCE
All flooring, particularly hardwood flooring, requires regular and appropriate care and maintenance to keep it in good condition and to preserve its appearance and performance. Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of their flooring and for following the care and maintenance recommendations provided by us and/or the flooring manufacturer.
Any care and maintenance advice provided by us is intended as general guidance and does not remove the customer’s responsibility to properly care for and maintain their flooring.
Where we recommend specific cleaning or maintenance products, including Rubio Monocoat, customers should ensure that the product is suitable for their particular flooring and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Failure to properly care for and maintain flooring, including the use of unsuitable cleaning products or methods, may result in damage, deterioration or changes in appearance and may affect any applicable product or installation warranty.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be responsible for loss or damage arising solely from:
Information on the website being inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
Reliance on general product information where specific product advice has not been obtained
Incorrect measurements or information supplied by the customer
Product selection made by the customer where the customer has not sought or followed appropriate advice
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or continuously available.
